Book Design

Bespoke design for books and dustjackets. I have undertaken a variety of book design projects, many of them extensively illustrated and enjoy the challenge of converting the manuscripts and images into a coherent whole. I’m happy to work with all subject matter and learn a lot about a wide variety of topics from the projects I’ve worked on. That’s all part of the fun.

A number of books that I’ve designed have been for Coch-y-Bonddu Books, run by book dealer and publisher, Paul Morgan, from his base in Machynlleth, Wales. The majority of these commissions have dealt with fishing and in particular the fascinating world of flyfishing, with its colourful and detailed fly imitations being particularly intriguing from a visual point of view. There’s a wealth of information, prose and imagery available from Paul’s comprehensive website at www.anglebooks.com.

“Thanks Pete and Paul for the wonderful editing and design job you’ve done on my book, Poles Apart. I’d certainly recommend your excellent service to authors anywhere.” (Michael Nadell, author)
